Program Goals 

• Educate and Equip: Deliver comprehensive, age-appropriate sexual health education to youth and young adults, including topics like consent, healthy relationships, and STI/HIV prevention.
• Promote Self-Love and Confidence: Encourage self-acceptance, body positivity, and mental wellness through ongoing group discussions, journaling, and skill-building activities.
• Reduce Health Disparities: Address gaps in sexual health knowledge and access among Black women, girls, and other marginalized groups in Detroit.
• Cultivate Future Leaders: Develop leadership, advocacy, and life skills among participants to empower them as peer educators and community change agents.
• Encourage Community Engagement: Involve participants in service projects, outreach events, and volunteer opportunities to strengthen their connection to the community.​

Event Goals 

• Promote Awareness: Increase community knowledge around sexual health, self-care, and wellness through interactive, engaging events.
• Foster Safe Spaces: Create welcoming environments where youth and adults feel comfortable discussing sensitive topics without judgment or stigma.
• Build Community Connections: Strengthen relationships between participants, families, and local organizations to cultivate ongoing support and collaboration.
• Empower Attendees: Inspire confidence, self-advocacy, and positive decision-making by centering real-life stories, expert voices, and peer support.
• Provide Access to Resources: Connect attendees with vital health resources, safer sex kits, educational materials, and supportive services.​
